About The Story Ballet
Several years ago, I heard “Music Inspired by The Story” for the first time and God instantly placed a vision in my mind for a ballet production. At that time, I didn’t know where to begin the project, and I had no resources. A couple of years later, I turned The Story CD on again, and the rather forsaken idea began to press on my heart stronger than before. I had no clue what was going to happen, but I do serve a God who is larger than all my understanding, and He had a plan right from the start. The Story Ballet came to life in the spring of 2015, with three performances and over 700 people in attendance. We were amazed by the work God did with the first Story Ballet performances, and could clearly His hand in every step of the process. I am so thankful that He called us to produce The Story Ballet for the second time in Spring 2017. It has been an amazing journey meeting several new cast members, adding many performance dates, and working with talented individuals to bring this production back to the stage. God has seen this project through right from the start, and I have been awed to watch His faithfulness as He lead our team day by day. My deepest desire and prayer is that many hearts would come to know His Son, Jesus Christ, and the amazing gift of Salvation He gives us. -Hannah Hackel, Director
